Working, Living and Exploring London, UK

Central Middlesex Hospital UK
After a year in Torbay Hospital , I moved to London. For the first 5 months in London I worked in a long term care facility while seeking a hospital position. The five months working with long term care patients was a new experience for me. Culturally, Filipino families take care of their elders at home.Children takes care of their parents until they get old and unable to do anything for themselves till they passed away. The caregivers were culturally diversified. Some  caretakers were Africans, with a few whites. There were 3  Filipino nurses and an Indian nurse.

Central Middlesex Hospital in the day surgery unit.Though it was a Day Surgery ,there was a step down unit where post surgical patients stay for 24 hours. While the staff (again) was very diverse but majority  of the nurses were English and Africans and then me the only Asian in the unit. Central Middlesex hospital is one of the NORTH WEST HOSPITALS IN LONDON.These NHS care for more than half  million people living across Brent, Harrow and beyond - making it one of the biggest and busiest NHS Trusts in the capital.

After 8 months at  Central Middlesex Hospital i moved to  Northwick Hospital that is much closer to where me and my friends live. The commute was much easier than it was when i worked at Central Middlesex Hospital.
My being a nurse have given the chance to experience live, work and explore the city London, one of the oldest city in the world.
